Aug 18th SoCal Gathering

Well the summers ending and what better way to end it than to go hang out with all my cosplay friends.  So sat the 18th I'll be at the socal gathering taking tons of cosplay pics/ possible photoshoots.  I had so much fun at the spring gathering, that I have to come back for summer one too. 

Aug 19th Bats Day at Disneyland

On Sunday the end of Bats Day will be happening at Disneyland.  I'm going for 2 reasons, one: I've never gone to Bats Day and I want to see how it is, and two for the Southern California Passholders will get in for free.  Bat Day is pretty much Disneyland's gothic themed weekend. http://www.batsday.net/.     Go and dress up gothicly or egl style and take pics at Disneyland.  I mean its pretty much a cool way to get costume pics at the Magic Castle!!!  I don't know if this is possible but it'd be cool to actually have a gothic version of your cosplay.  Heres the details

When: Aug 19th all day

Where: Disneyland

Prices: $83.00 for both California Adventure and Disneyland
              $63.00 for just Disneyland
              $35.00 for the Southern California Select Passholder
              Free for Southern California Passholder
             and
             $10 or 15 dollars for parking

Dress up: Gothic/EGL/Dark cosplay or just go normal wear...just don't bring props.

If you guys don't want to pay like 5 dollars for soda and 10 dollars for food, make sure to bring some food and drinks with you to the park.  And if anyone wants to do some pin collecting, me and steph will be bringing our pins to trade.  MUST FIND MORE HIDDEN MICKEY PINS ^_^  Also if you are a Southern California Select Passholder, if you pay 35, you automatically upgrade to the Southern California Passholder, just make sure to pick up your new card at California Adventure before you leave the park. 

It'd be nice to know whos in the cosplay community that has Annual Passes cause I'm thinking of organizing a Disneyland Cosplay Day.  I'll let you guys know about that once I know what kinda costumes are allowed, from the Disney staff.  Hope to see all of you there.
